Community Rules

By connecting to HavenGrove or using any of our services, you agree to all of the rules below. Please read them fully before you begin playing.

Our rules exist to protect the community and keep the Grove a place everyone is proud to call home. Rules may change at any time—stay up to date via the #announcements and #changelog channels on our Discord.

The rules

1. Keep the peace in chat

  • No sensitive topics intended to stir up chat or spread server hate.
  • No political or religious discussion.
  • No sharing personal information about yourself or others.
  • No excessive bragging about items, spending, or status.
  • No arguing, baiting, or disputes over trades, games of chance, or land.
  • Players who join community games of chance accept the risk of losing their items.

2. No bullying or harassment

  • No targeting, name-calling, or defaming other players.
  • Random PVP requires permission from the other party first.
  • No bait teleporting or trapping other players.
  • Leave a player's land when the owner or a trustee asks you to.

3. No griefing

  • Griefing in any form is forbidden. Report griefs in the #support channel for a possible rollback.
  • Don't claim builds that aren't yours to antagonize others.
  • Don't lure animals or mobs onto someone's land.
  • Don't build unwanted structures around another player's land without consent.

4. No exploiting

  • Using or discussing dupes and exploits results in a permanent ban.
  • Bugs and exploits must be reported to staff rather than used.
  • Vanilla dupes that disrupt the economy are strictly prohibited.

5. No unfair clients

  • No hacked clients, X-ray, auto-clickers, auto-fishing, or free-cam.
  • Only one account per IP address.
  • Allowed: FPS boosters (OptiFine), mini-maps/waypoints, full-bright, Lunar Client, and Litematica (no auto/easy place).

6. Don't bypass server features

  • No spamming, chat-filter bypassing, or bypassing item/chunk/shop limits.
  • No using alternate accounts to bypass player limits.

7. No advertising

  • Don't mention, compare, or promote other servers, realms, or Discords.
  • No posting external server links or addresses.
  • Failing to report advertising is treated as encouraging it.

8. No punishment evasion

  • Evading a ban voids all appeals.
  • The only path to an unban is the official appeal process.

9. No chargebacks

  • Chargebacks lead to permanent removal from the server, Discord, and store.
  • Don't discuss or encourage chargebacks in chat.

10. English only

  • Chat and voice must be in English so staff can moderate fairly.
  • Allowed: labeling chests or naming items in other languages, as long as it doesn't break another rule.

11. Respect the staff team

  • Direct or indirect disrespect toward staff results in removal from the network.
  • Be kind and courteous to everyone on the team and server.

12. Don't discuss punishments

  • Debating or disputing punishments in chat is not allowed.
  • Use the official appeal form instead—don't have others ask on your behalf.

13. Don't hinder performance

  • No lag machines or intentional chunk lag.
  • Report lag issues to the #support channel.

14. Keep it clean

  • No inappropriate behavior—HavenGrove is a safe, friendly space.
  • Mild swearing is allowed, but don't use it excessively.

Requesting a rollback

If you've been griefed or lost items unfairly, open an in-game support ticket in the #support channel:

Area Rollback

Provide the two coordinates forming the cuboid to be rolled back, plus the time (in EST) you'd like it restored to.

Inventory Rollback

Tell us the cause of death (only VOID and LAVA are supported) and the time it occurred in EST.
